a windy day….

well, a cold front came in yesterday–just as I was finishing up the last of my Christmas sittings.  It got coooooolllllldddddd.  we also had to change locations due to the North Pole Express Train down in the Grapevine train depot.  There were soooo many people there!  BUT, I found this old house on one of the side streets and we camped out there for a while.  This sweet family was so flexible and I think we got some cute pictures.

kearns family

yesterday i spent the day in McKinney taking pictures of 3 awesome families.  it started out really nice with the thought i might get really hot dressed the way i was. just as i was preparing to shoot the first sitting, the wind picked up, changed direction and became a cold, blustery wind.  we were shooting in an alley way and it became a tunnel of wind…..wasn’t so pleasant:( BUT….we did get some good shots of each family and they each had such beautiful children.

this is the kearns family.  it was the first time we met and, boy are those precious kids:) sweet smiles and beautiful eyes.

this is sweet man Ryan.  We had a blast running around the park area and letting him explore.  it was actually a little hard to catch him NOT moving:) He is surprising his daddy with some of these for Christmas.

Christmas at the Gaylord

Well, a cold snap came in and it was too cold to take pictures outside…so, we opted for the Gaylord Hotel.  It is so beautifully decorated for Christmas!  Lots of things to see and do while there.  I had the honor of taking these 3 BEAUTIFUL children’s pictures for this year.  I had a hard time getting the boys names strait until dad came in with a name association for me with one of the boys….here are a few of what I got this weekend.  Hope you like them, Mom!!!
